How can physically/mentally impaired students of junior high schools or elementary schools in Taipei apply for formal education outside of the school district?
Education for physically and mentally impaired students at elementary and junior high levels is based upon the principle of “studying at your local school”, and students are encouraged to study at schools within their school district. If there is no suitable special education class in their school district, a suitable special education class can be arranged following confirmation by the Taipei City Evaluation and Counseling Committee.
